Benefits of Dried Mushrooms:
Flavor Intensity: The drying process concentrates the flavors, making dried mushrooms more potent in taste.
Nutrient Density: With reduced water content, dried mushrooms offer a higher concentration of nutrients like B vitamins, copper, potassium, and iron per gram compared to their fresh counterparts.
Versatility: They can be rehydrated and used in a variety of dishes, providing a convenient and flavorful ingredient option.
Economic: Using dried mushrooms can be more economical in the long run, as they will not spoil and you’ll use less quantity due to their concentrated flavor.

Usage:
Sprinkle then into your broths, brew them into brain-boosting teas, or grind them into potent powder. You can also awaken these slumbering fungal phantoms by immersing them in a warm potion. Submerge your desired quantity of dried mushrooms in a chalice of warm water, and allow them to soak for 15-30 minutes, or until they regain their original shape and succulence.
Shelf Life and Storage:
Ensconced in our Mylar bags, and stored in the cool, dark recesses of your pantry, our dried mushrooms should retain their potent prowess for up to one full year.
However, keep in mind that time isn’t always a strict taskmaster, and the actual shelf life could extend even beyond that span, if the mushrooms are stored under ideal conditions.
Always inspect your dried mushrooms before use. If they retain their color, have no trace of moisture, and emanate their characteristic aroma, they’re still perfectly fine to eat. Any signs of moisture, mold, or an off-putting smell signify that the mushrooms should be thrown on the compost.
